For 2026 horses will be required to qualify for this class.
Qualifiers will be held at the following venues :
MUIRMILL 18-19th April
CHAMPFLEURIE 25-26th April
BOGENRAITH 2-3rd May
HIGHFIELD 16-17th May

Qualification Rules.
Highest placed 4yr olds within a British Novice , 5yr olds within a Discovery. Ticket entries are eligible. To qualify horses must have no more than 8 jumping faults. Riders must declare intention to qualify at time of entry. There will be a maximum of 12 qualifying places for each section , three per venue.
When less than 3 horses qualify at any show, the additional qualifying places will be allocated at the subsequent venues.
Rules for RHS Final: height of fences 4yr old section approx 1 m , 5yr old approx. 1.10m.
Top 6 in each section will go forward for final placings based on style and performance. Entries will be limited to 2 horses per owner in each section and 1 horse per rider in each section.

All entries in these classes must be registered with a recognised Sports Horse Society.
Judge: Mr Eric Smith

SIMPLE SNAFFLE BRIDLES ONLY, running martingales permitted.
Boots, whips and batons must comply with the current BS rules for Young Horse classes.
Phase 1 - The course will consist of 10 fences including one double, to be judged as a showjumping round according to British Showjumping Table A, plus an overall style mark out of 20.

Phase 2 - The top 6 based on faults and style will go forward to final judging.
